Well, after 6 months of writing and drawing Generations, I’ve decided to take a break. Two mistakes this week tells me I’m getting sloppy and inconsiderate. Also, site traffic was very slow over the Thanksgiving weekend, and I suspect that people aren’t going to read the strip this week either.
Generations will return on January 2nd. I’d appreciate it if readers shared the strips they liked and the strips they hated this year in the comments. It doesn’t have to be one strip… you can condemn a whole story if you wish!

Nice one, Chris! Really tying your cartoon well with the holidays…
Thanks!
My personal favorite cartoon was the one where your teacher said, “Next time, strive for realism” or something like that after seeing your drawing of a really big, fancy house. I think it was your best and most creative work to date.
Yes, that one was excellent… I will have to think about which ones I found to be successful and which ones which didn’t turn out very well…
I have another long form comic planned for the week I get back. I haven’t made one in ages.
Chris, I don’t remember which are my favorites. I seem to like every one, every day. And every day your comics get better and better, as does your wit and story telling. You have a real talent, keep up the good work!
I have really enjoyed many of them. But some of my favorites are the new single-standing ones. Also, the strip ending with “absurd” was excellent. It really wrapped up nicely. Your political ones always turn out great.
Chris, there are too many to choose from!
Have a nice break from the website for a week…
Thanks guys!
This is my least favorite strip this year:

It’s mean, stupid, and not funny. Also, my hand lettering was impossible to read back then.
I hadn’t noticed how much the drawing portion of the cartoon had evolved until I looked back at that link…there defenitely has been improvment!
Thanks. I’m curious to see what the strip will look like in another 6 months.
I hadn’t either. I guess it’s like when you see someone after not seeing them for 6 months and they look a lot taller, but you wouldn’t notice the difference in someone you see everyday.
Ouch. Yeah, that one was a bit harsh!
Almost as harsh as pretending to give students tank.
